Good day to all the strangers on here. I am new so you are still all strangers to me. My photo is a bit old so you will have to add some wrinkles and a couple of grey hair. I shall update it as soon as I figured out how to use the timer on the camera. Not going to ask my son again as he already thinks I am brain dead.
Suspect my profile is kind of crappy but I am basically looking for a man who is interested in off the grid living. I have a piece of land covered in pine trees that I started to clear recently. Thinking about planting vegetables, fruit trees, keeping chicken and stuff like that. I am not concerned about chemistry and soppy, romantic stuff as I believe getting along, wanting the same from life and working together towards getting it, are enough to build a strong relationship. After all what more do you want than to be happy with each other.

You sound like a very practicable and realistic lady. I looked at your profile and had a good chuckle. Yes you are one in a million. What do they grow in your end of the sticks other than pine trees? Silly question. if you can grow pine trees.... What did you have in mind?
All kids think their parents are brain dead and far to old to know anything. |

| Half the area is natural forest and the rest pine trees. Fruit trees and vegetables do well there....unfortunately baboons as well. I am not living there yet but was there for a month recently. We got someone to cut some trees for us to make space for a house and garden. My son and I also put up a very crooked messed up Wendy house so we need not live in a tent again when we go back....hopefully before the end of the year. Have a little stream we can pump water from and rains a lot there so water is not a problem. Love gardening and woodwork and can do both there. Wood is fairly cheap at the local saw mill. |

Thanks for all the interesting info. Baboons and monkey do not make growing market crops very easy or even your own fruit trees. With the abundance of wood were you thinking log cabin or something?
I was wondering about rain. I see two bodies of water and one large green area, Eunice Naqaka St runs through the edge. Looks like you have an adventure in front of you. |

Yes...first a basic cabin that you buy in panels from the saw mill and then try my hand on a cord wood house with the wood on the plot. My neighbour on the other side of the stream is busy building one now so can learn from the mistakes he makes.  |

That sounds reasonable and the panel type is not that expensive and will serve for many years if the wood is looked after.
I'm still none the wiser where about you are talking about is, can you give me some landmarks or a rough idea please? |

Sorry been busy this weekend we had two days of sunshine and cutting the grass was has not been done for more than two weeks.
