I am not sure how I should answer your statement but love is not blind and always has qualifications. Love means what we find comfortable. What we like, what we are attracted to and all of these are emotional terms. None of them have a specific colour attached.
Is it not wonderful that we all don't love the same person and we are all different. |

Dating is complicated enough as it is. Dating someone from another race is a complication I don't want to add to my dating experience. |

Please, I have been looking for the perfect world my live over. Can you point me in the right direction. i don't think its on this mother earth anyway.
So lets just be what we are and what allows us to be comfortable with. I married a woman, same race, but from a foreign country with different language, it was at times like hell on earth. My answer, NEVER AGAIN! |

True but what is the result of true love between a man and a woman, we are human and are here to multiply. So the once who experience difficulties are the children who have to find their identity. Something many struggle with.
I worked with many different cultures and enjoyed their company in business and private. I just draw a line when it comes to love/lovemaking and the result of it. That's where responsible people should stop and think twice. |

Since I am a dark skinned mixed race Cape coloured female, people just assume that I am cultured when I'm not. It wasn't possible to stay grounded in the traditions and norms of coloureds while traveling and living in culture rich places like parts of Asia. I've also lived in England and Australia. These experiences early on in life really opened my mind and heart and I don't feel like I belong to one group or the other. I'd like to rather see myself as a world citizen belonging to the human race and looking for love on earth.
A concept that has been rejected and laughed at by many of my 'coloured peeps' my black friends and white friends have a bit of a hard time understanding me too.
Wish we all could just stop placing limitations to ourselves and try something different. Something new. You might enjoy it or gain insight from the experience. |

I am a black man and I Would not date outside my race. Sometimes it takes more than just love to make things work, it should be practical as well. |

Speaking of beating around the bush: Practical cross-cultural challenges aside, if you're "incapable" of finding someone outside your own race attractive aesthetically, you're racist. Bottom line. We ALL carry ingrained prejudices from as early as childhood. The key to positive change is recognising them rather than excusing them, and continually asking ourselves the difficult questions. |

I have a deep understanding of my history I am proud of being a pure black person and I am proud to be associated with my race. I do not have a problem with other races, I am just proud of mine. I do not want to date outside my race not because of my looks or incapability to do so I just do not want to. What you are implying is that a black person is supposed or expected to long for a white partner, that kind of thinking is the kind that has racial undertones. I do not want it, because I do not, not that I cannot get it, it is as if you are saying that I have to want it. |

It's all in the head, go out there and date whoever you like. It's fun and great life is about experiencing new things anyway, so take all those negative thoughts and throw them away and do it. Action speaks louder than words. |

Have anyone ever stopped and asked themselves....why are there different races? There must be a reason behind it so why not honor that reason and stay with your own race. If we were not suppose to have any racial identity we would have been all the same color. Who invented the idea that it is bad to identify and stick to your own race when it comes to relationships? Especially religious people should not even think about crossing that line. God made you the way you are and you are not to create a mixed race that is different from the way God made you. |
