Because they have not suffered enough to realise one does no need 10 vases when 2 are enough- I've gone from losing megabucks to furniture to eating dry bread-50c chips-black coffee as a staple diet for almost a year. It made me realise I don't need 23 prs shoes etc... Now I'm getting back on my feet again as just started a jon after searching 3yrs. I feel more blessed now tham I did before-not to say we don't need money-i mean who wants to eat like I did for almost a year? It affected my health as I lost so much weight
