I live in a most beautiful village high up in the mountains. As I got out of the rat race when I was 45 I knew some or other time I'm going to end up being terribly poor. Decided to buy my own land to squat on rather than share a squatter camp with thousands of others. Got some land with lots of wood, where it rains a lot and a little stream coming from a spring that has never dried up.

Unfortunately living here reduced my chances of finding someone to about zero. My rustic kind of living does not appeal to many people. It is also a bit difficult to earn a living here if you get only a small pension. After our cars broke down one after the other and my son had the nerve wrecking experience of being towed down the pass, I realized a motor mechanic is what I and this village really need.

So...think I must change the what I'm looking for part in my profile. Not that I think it will help much as the pickings are a bit slim at my age. Life is good here on the mountain and my plot is big enough to share with someone who can appreciate a simple and peaceful life.
