It's an interesting question that has puzzled me for sometime. If you look at the ladies profiles of what they want there must be a million guys who meet that. What they don't say is I'm looking for somebody I want to breed with (chemistry) and all the attribute of that. Nest, security, safety.... So what they look for is the alpha male, the leader, confident, exceptional, willing to protect.. and end up mistaking that for some badass who is aggressive, violent, selfish and everything they say they don't want. Loud, aggressive unfaithful jocks who think they own everything and think violence is the only solution are what you are going to end up with.
That's what you get when you let emotions decide and not your brain. So yes avoid like the plague what you do not want and don't kid yourself it will be ok or you will change it. Instead of hunting for jocks and chemistry check out the nerds who could not be bothered with such silly displays and thumping their chest. |

You are right making the same mistake over and over again in not much fun. I would have said that was another discussion 
Any relationship that works is a two way street.
If you settle for less or something different you are not being true to yourself. So setting standards so high nobody has a ladder to reach or approaching this with a shopping list may not be the best approach.
If you are looking to spend the rest of your life with somebody best make sure they are suitable for that. When breeding is over and there is nothing left is the time that all important thing kicks in. What the hell is one going to do or talk about?  |
